The North Reading Police Department is advising that anyone who utilized the blue, standalone US Postal Service collection box, which is located at the rear of the post office, at 174 Park St., any time after 12 PM on Saturday, June 8, has had their mail stolen.
If you mailed checks in that timeframe, please put a stop payment on those checks and immediately contact The Savings Bank at 800-246-2009.
Please also monitor your account for any suspicious activity. Our Notifi service allows you to receive real-time alerts on account activity through Online or Mobile Banking. The Savings Bank will also add additional check monitoring at this time.
