Wakefield, MA- Philip A. Bracey of Pelham, NH has been named Vice President and Controller of The Savings Bank. He brings more than 20 years of experience in financial analysis, audit support, account reconciliations and collections, financial statement preparation, and controls monitoring to The Savings Bank.
Bracey was associated with Winchester Co-operative Bank for two decades in several positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as Assistant Vice President, Controller responsible for overseeing accounting operations, assisting with the management of investment portfolios for the bank and its subsidiary, and leading the bank’s annual financial audit.
“Phil’s extensive experience in banking, specifically in internal controls, project management, budget development, and general ledger accounting, makes him an ideal fit for the Bank and its mission,” Denise Carbone, Executive Vice President, CFO, and Treasurer said.
Bracey earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Anslem College and has earned a Banking certificate from the New England School of Financial Studies at Babson, as well as an Investment Portfolio certificate from FTN Financial Portfolio Management School of Memphis, TN, and a Basic Accounting certificate from the New England College of Business and Finance of Boston.
