The Savings Bank will mark the 50th anniversary of the opening of its Lynnfield branch office at 584 Main Street, Lynnfield with a celebration on Friday, September 18th beginning at 1 p.m. The celebration will include light refreshments and commemorative giveaways.
The Lynnfield branch was the Bank’s third location when it opened at the former site of the historically-significant general store, later Roundy’s, that opened in the 1840s.
The celebration is open to customers, friends, and the community in appreciation of the support the bank has received since its opening in 1976 at the Colonial Shopping Center. Bank officers and staff including Lynnfield manager Rosa Bertolone will be on hand to welcome guests and local officials.
